Ten minutes, in order

Getting started

A shop the school runs, for the people already in it. Everything below is something to do, not something to read about.

If you are buying

Four steps
  1. 01

    Look at the floor

Everything listed, on shelves built from what is actually moving. Nothing here is from outside your school.

    Open the shop
  2. 02

    Save what you like

The heart on any item. Saved items tell you when the price drops, and you can pull several into a Look to see them together.

    Your saved things
  3. 03

    Ask before you commit

Message the seller from the item. Ask for a photograph of the part you care about. A seller who will not answer is telling you something.

Pay, then collect from a locker

You pay on Showroom when you order. The seller drops it in a locker, staff check it, and you collect it with a code. Nobody meets anybody.

    How buying works

If you are selling

Four steps
  1. 01

    Photograph it properly

Daylight, a plain surface, the whole thing in frame, then one close-up of the worst part. Nothing is cropped here, so the shape you shoot is the shape it shows.

  2. 02

    List it

A title, a price, a condition and the flaws. Stating a flaw costs you nothing. Hiding one is a not-as-described report that stays attached to your name.

    List something
  3. 03

    Reply inside a day

A listing whose seller has gone quiet gets paused. Replying fast is most of what makes somebody buy from you rather than the identical thing next to it.

  4. 04

Open a storefront if it becomes a habit

Selling more than once is a shop: your name over the door, your own address, your own page. Free to open and free to keep open.

    Bring your business

Three rules

01Say the flawsA stated flaw costs nothing. A hidden one is a report that stays attached to your name.
02Keep it hereFinding something here and paying somewhere else removes the shop. It is how marketplace fraud works.
03Speak to people like they are in the roomBecause they are. Everything written here is read by a screen, and anything aimed at a person goes to the school.

The rest

You need a Village email

Or the roster, a parent, or an ID checked by staff. That is the only door, and it is why there are no strangers here.
